scary: adjective

frightening: causing fear or alarm

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First, I would love to take a moment and thank each and every one of you that left me such wonderful and encouraging remarks last Wednesday about my craft fair. If you want to see a couple of pictures about it then click HERE, sorry there aren't a lot of pictures but I was too busy once everything started!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, onto WOYWW, where I have been frantically trying to play catch up with my ATC swap we are having. I would love to do some extra swapping so if anyone is interested please let me know. I have 5 extras that I made in the hopes of someone else wanting to do the same. If you are interested e-mail me at sandeesetliff@yahoo.com with your address and I'll e-mail you back with my address, how does that sound? Please put WOYWW Swap in the subject line, cause if I don't know the sender, I do not open the mail!

My ATC swap is full, thank you ladies!

Here is my room, it doesn't look too bad from this angle, does it?
...my how things can be so deceiving!

Cue music from Jaws,
 Psycho,
or any scary background music of your preference,

because....this is my desk space I'm working on!
LOL, I am currently down to a minimum of 12" to work on, you can see my AB book that I am trying to catch up with. I can't wait to share it with you because I have learned some awesome new techniques! For the eagle eyes out there you might be able to spot my ATC's I'm also working on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I am off with a friend of mine to check out downtown Brevard, where the White Squirrel Festival will be held. I am the event leader for my Hiking with Cameras group for this occasion and I need to find out where parking, eating and touring will be!

When I come back I plan on visiting some desks, I hope each and every one of you has a fantastic day!

I'm also looking forward to seeing the latest and greatest in your AB. Your chair looks like mine in the basement. And I take it you don't really like baskets (grin)!! Happy WOYWW from #5.

You are such a snoop, Sandee. My friend is from grad school and it's been years since I've seen him. He will stay two or so days. BTW, he's about 30 years older than me (well maybe not THAT much older, but you get the picture). Now go ponder that one (grin).

Neet said...

Think I spotted the atc's but not giving any clues to the others that call in. I'm mean!
Love the humour in your post this morning, but your desk is not that bad, just a lovely haven of craftiness.
Thanks for sharing - Hugs, Neet #11 x

Hi Sandee, loving your journal pages, they look amazing. I would not want to subject you to one of my ATC's, I am still learning! Your desk looks great, as long as you have a few inches to work in it is fine. Thanks for making me smile today. Anne xx #9

You certainly have a lot going on there, with just a little space to play. The altered book is looking fantastic.
I replied to your comment but forgot to change the subject to the ATC swap, please don't delete it.

Lovely craft space, a smaller area means we have to be really creative lol, I normally have just enough room to put a 6x6 card on. Off to check our the craft fair. Hugs, amanda #76

ah your desk isn't really all that bad, you can't get crafty without a bit of mess :o) I'm going to be having a play at ATC's this weekend, so it will depend on how happy I am with them as to wether I am able to do more than one swap :o) I've not done them before so not sure how they'll turn out!! x April#86

LOL - the first thing I spotted on your desk was the yellow microbunting, and it looks like a row of teeth.... scary indeed.... cos it looks like your desk is about to eat your mermaid... The sea background is great, by the way.

Thanks for stopping by!

ROFL Sandee! Loved your references to Scary Movies, but the work table wasn't as scary as all THAT lol! You may have a very small space left available for work, but the whole table looks colourful and productive, and that's a lovely page you are showing us. Love the little bunting swag too!

Happy WOYWW,

I think the WOYWW ATC swap is going to be crazy and fabulous. I taught an ATC class long ago and found some left over kits from it so I'll have extras to swap out too. I hemmed and hawed over my design but decided since this is a worldwide swap I would have it reflect where I live. And no, I'm not sending yellow pollen to everyone! LOL! Anyway, I'll have to read over your last few posts and see how the craft fair went. And if you have 12" of useable desk space then you are fine. Call me when you have 3" square or less. ;-)

Scary but also facinating....such a lot going on Sandee ~ wow!
I thought I was busy ;D

Ha Sandee, great build up..and then - oh, your desk looks pretty good to me - if there's room to do stuff, you're winning! But why you have cling wrap over the paper cup that appears to have a pencil in it? I pondered awhile and decided that it's easier to ask!!

Craftychris said...

I love the scarey music but it didn't put me off! I end working like that sometimes too. I am so glad your craft sale went well, I knew it would!! Those birdies are gorgeous xx

BumbleVee said...

hahhaha.... yeh..you ask Julia...I'm not going to..... maybe it's a type of 'lid' invention... and maybe she uses the pencil for other than sketching....????

Ha! You can't scare this crowd with crafty messes. Love your mermaid spread and the little seahorse in a tin up above. I love seahorses. I could spend hours at an aquarium just watching them and their cousins the sea dragons. Hope you had a very happy WOYWW. ~ Laura #117

Wait? What ATC swap is full?!? The one for WOYWW? I started making mine last night -- they will be VERY simple.

How was your camera adventure around Asheville? I was there in the 1990s. Then it was a small artsy town.
