worthy: adjective

having sufficient worth or importance

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My friend Jamie, who is visiting from Tennessee, has currently taken over my desk, playing with my alcohol inks and Cricut cartridges!

I haven't been at my desk as I have had to do some Really Reasonable Ribbon Projects and I would LOVE your help. I had to write up a post yesterday and I would love for you, my WOYWW friends to go over there and leave me a comment. You don't have to leave one here, I wouldn't ask you to do a double comment, but please, with a cherry on top, would you go here and leave me a comment? You might win some ribbon too! So thank you in advance for anyone that does this!

I don't know about you, but I have never had the opportunity to send out a birthday card before to someone turning 100 years old! This is kinda exciting!
Hello my WOYWW friends and newcomers alike, welcome to my little part of the world here in North Carolina where I am frequently seen waving at everyone! ;) Today is a special day because we Cricut Card Fairies don't have the opportunity to send out happy cards very often. More likely we are called upon to help out families in crisis, whether a death, hospitalization, sickness or just need a pick me up kind of card. If you need a card sent to someone or would like to join our group then please click on the right side bar where you see the little fairy. You don't have to own a Cricut or use anything in particular either and your never obligated to send out a card.
But today I get to send out a 100th birthday wish to a gentleman, so I tried to make it worthy of the occasion. I used the Cricut Craft Room ( secretly in love with this program and it's....FREE!!! ) to weld the numbers from the Cricut Don Juan cartridge so that I would have a shaped card. Then using my Scor-Pal Tape I adhered the Really Reasonable Ribbon to the card and cut away the edges.

And over at Frosted Designs they are having their Fabulous Friday challenge: Washi Tape, so I used my Tim Holtz music note tissue tape and cut it into a banner and then applied it to the ribbon, also cutting the ribbon into the banner shape. The tissue tape adhered very well to the ribbon and the banner was fixed with the Scor-Pal Tape, but the chipboard 'th' was glued on with Aleene's Tacky Glue.
Here's the card, and I sure hope the gentleman has a wonderful birthday!

Wow Sandee, love that card, so simple, so much impact - well I guess that's important at 100 - here they would get a telegram from the Queen - does Mr O send one over there? I left my message yesterday for you over at the other side. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #54

How could I not leave a comment on both. This card rocks! I love it. I just downloaded the cricut craftroom. Don't know how to use it yet but hope to soon. I am really new to Cricut but this card is making me think I need to get it out right now!

So lucky to have someone to give the card to that is turning 100. I have not experienced that blessing before. Thank you for sharing.

If you find some time come play at my desk.
