aha moment: noun

an instant at which the solution to a problem becomes clear
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
when I'm at my desk,
I'm thinking of you!

hee hee, well, maybe not all the time, but I do start thinking about WOYWW every Wednesday, hoping that I won't forget to post pictures and worried if I can keep it short! lol

Now that I have been trying to keep my craft desk neater, ( although I am slipping a little in the housekeeping and things are starting to pile up again, lol ) I have discovered that I have space to use my computer back here when needed. This morning as I am waiting on one of friends to arrive, I can work on my desk and watch out the window for her! ( she is coming over to check out my crafts in the Art MoB and I am buying her lunch for her birthday )

So on my desk, is my computer open to work on Thrusday's post where I will be talking and showing what I made while "demostrating" my mix media wall hanging last Saturday. It was a lot of fun, so come back tomorrow and hopefully ( crossing fingers, toes, and anything else required ), hopefully I will have a small, short slideshow to show the process used...and hopefully is the key word here! lol
My aha moment last week came when I discovered that I had enough real estate to mount a paper rack under my shelf so I wouldn't have to look for a paper towel everytime I need one. Love the accessibility! You can see the card sitting on the shelf that Jean sent to me, thanking me for her prize that she won a couple of weeks ago, wasn't that sweet of her? The card below peeking out below is a submission card, so I cannot show that one yet :)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There were 115 votes to tally...whoa nelly!
And the winner for the mini album is:

Julia S-W

Congrats Julia, e-mail me your address at sandeesetliff@yahoo.com so I can get your prize mailed out to you!

Busy post and a great laptop.
Thanks for the visit earlier - now, you are so far from the truth with your guess. I am nowhere near tiny, very tall (5'10") but still need the foam on my chair to reach my desk when sitting.
Hugs, Neet xx

You are doing good keeping things so tidy, it is a challenge and one that gets easier by the day. Mine this week is messy die to being at work most of the time. Finals fever in Melbourne, will post photos soon. I think that is a great place for the paper towel, mine just sits next to me on the desk.

Happy WOYWW

You are one busy lady, Sandee! I love that you are evolving your space to make it the best that it can be for you. I sometimes think that process is as fun as card-making!

Thanks for coming by my place earlier! Have a great week! Darnell #74

I'm loving the paper towel rack idea!

Once i am recovered i will check back for your video...i am so impressed that you know how to do one...I am rubbish at things like that...
I have always thought that it would be fun to hear the voice with the name though. All our different accents would be so neat to hear.

Great idea to put the paper towel roll there, just where you need it. Well done on keeping the desk tidy!

Oh no! Are we going to have to start counting our words??! Love the paper towels right on hand. That will be so handy! And they are hung so you can easily access one sheet without getting the whole roll messy.

I think the poem really goes:
Roses are red; violets are blue.
I hate housework; so I'm writing to you.

Thanks so much for that Sandee!! Can't wait to receive my little pressie. I don't do the workdesk thingy but I often have a look at the desks of people I know. . . . . such a snooper! Love your towel holder, it's a fab idea.

I've sent the email with the details :) x

It is really good I am late because I was now able to see the video - lovely project! Also I love the idea for the paper towels - my workspace is really small so I always have the paper towel on the floor - not very handy when paint is dripping of your fingers!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian

Lovely addition to your craft space. Sadly, I can't get those plastic hangers to work. After awhile, they loosen and the paper towel roll falls out. I sincerely hope it works for you.

I've been doing pretty well with keeping my desk cleaned off until this past week when I started on a commissioned project of 8 decoupaged Christmas ornaments - now I'm in a complete mess. I use "drying time" to work on other projects and the piles just get deeper! I know you can relate!
I have been thinking about a good place to mount a paper towel holder but haven't come up with a good plan yet.
Congrats on having so many entrants in you contest - that's awesome!

I given up on my desk at the mo, got the blues. Good idea for a towerl rail, wouldn't last long with me, would find something else to stash there as well. Have a good week. Francesca

Hey Sandee,

Those paper towels are mighty handy! I'll be cleaning up my crafting area before I leave for my road trip. That means I can start with a clean slate when I come back!

Congrats to the winner of your mini album - lucky Julia!!

Hugs,
Kay
