selfie discovery

This is what I learned today about myself artistic wise.

It is much easier to draw a selfie from a photograph.

It is harder to draw while looking in a mirror.

I love your selfie. I have years ago when looking in my good health days I did a photo drawing of my aunt. Love to see doing such great work. Lots of blog love

Love them both!! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
I can just imagine the face I'd be making if I tried to do one looking into a mirror!!

You did a great job on both Sandee! I have never tried this but I am afraid mine would look very scary.

Hi Sandee .... your selfies are spot on if you ask me especially the top one ... the problem with drawing from life and not smiling is that you are concentrating so hard you forget to.

Well you really started something!!! I have done about 4 sketches. and although I sort of like them they have absolutely no resemblance of me.... To make the face look 'old' is hard for one point and the fact I wear glasses is another.... I do have to admit though I am learning some valuable lessons....

Just wanted you to know it has been my evening entertainment....
Again... love what you do and the inspiration you provide.
