Mirandize: verb

to recite the Miranda warnings to (a person under arrest)

This week over at Frosted Design, we have a travel theme challenge for you. Remember you can enter a card, Lay Out or an off the page project as long as it has something to do with travel.

Play along with us and you have a chance to win:
A Travel Mini Album Kit by Artsy Albums

Please pop over and take a look at my fellow Monday inspiration ladies have come up with for this challenge. I like to think my card as traveling with versatility :)

DCWV - Shimmer Stack
Cricut - Everyday Paper Dolls, p. 71
Flashing Tape - hardware store
Helmar - Liquid Scrapdots

The Cricut has a slit cut for the door so I just went with that idea, and printed my sentiment on a banner and slid it through the opening. It's lifted up with Helmar's Liquid Scrapdots, outlined with American Crafts Slick Writer.

To me, this sentiment makes it a more versatile card, it could mean:
"Happy Travels, here's some spending money"...or
"Here son, some money to fix your car up with"....or
"Get well soon, here's a gift to make you feel better"....or
"Hard times happens, here's a little something to get you back on your feet"...
lots of ideas here!

So, do you have any travel plans for the summer?
Jamie and I are going to Florida for a week, and I cannot wait! It will be so much fun to have someone to bum around with!

What a fun card! My dad was in trucking for 40 years! I wanted to tell you that I had such a great time with your post yesterday. I played the video and my hubby sat and watched it with me. He is a big lover of words and the dictionary. After watching it, he went up to his OED and got out his magnifying glass to see if the word was in there as he was so surprised it wan't in the M. Webster, and sure enough, not in the OED. He then proceeded to play the song by Duke Ellington (I never heard it..) So, you never know the fun your posts may bring to others!! Enjoy the day!

Cute card. (I like seeing ideas for male cards--not that females don't like trucks, too--LOL!)

My plans for the summer mostly involve art & crafts. ;)
