snap: verb

To take ( a photograph )
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Depending on your time zone, I will most likely be in the process of driving the 9 hours back home as you read this. I had a fantastic relaxing foot and hand massage at the Serenity Spa, I will miss those!

I went down to my favorite pier bar on the resort called Limes and had a peach margarita to drink while reading the second book in the Hunger Game series.
A young boy was feeding the seagulls and I got to snap a feeding frenzy! I felt like I was in Alfred Hitchcock's movie "The Birds" with them diving and squawking.

Then they settled down on the pier pilings to do a little people watching....

I ordered some dinner, fried macaroni and cheese, that was a new one for me, it was pretty good too!
Then I had another peach margarita, and really enjoyed the night skies, and got a pretty good picture of this guy standing in the light cast off from the pier. I even had people behind me watching me and one lady saying she wished she had her camera with her as it looked like the sun set, but it was just the reflections from the pier and resort lights...
There was a little boy next to me, asking a million questions as to what the bird was doing, and why was I taking it's picture, he was jumping up and down and swinging on the rope, I knew it would mess up the picture, but what the heck, he was real cute. I even like the picture..lol
Then when my 10 seconds of fame had died down, I walked back to my room so I could do my laundry and pack, ( so nice to be able to return home with clean clothes!! ).
Farewell to Panama Beach....till next year :)

Here's wishing you a safe journey home. As much fun as vacation is, I know I always look forward to being back in my own home and around my own things. Your photos of the sunset and the great blue heron are simply gorgeous! I am glad you went and enjoyed yourself. Sometimes it is nice to take a vacation alone and just relax without worrying about anyone else.

Looking forward to having you back on Monday night! Enjoy the clean clothes. . . Lol!

Hi Sandee, fried macaroni cheese does sound interesting.........love the photo of the Heron, we have one that lives on the mill pond next to our house but we never get light like that - your photo is awesome and I like the 'spoiled' one too. You should hopefully be home by now, nice to be back I bet. Crafty hugs, Anne xx

Hope you made it home and feel refreshed and happy... the photos were great and the writing made me feel like I was having a little break with you... wouldn't mind sharing a peach margarita one day... and i am about to start the third in the series... one of the advantages of having a teenage daughter is I get to read stuff like that even if she read them years ago.... still they are a great read...xx

Sounds like a fab holiday. I love the photo you took! I like the wobbly one too - that is a great memory to journal for a scrapbook. That little man will probably remember that forever! Jenx

Great pictures and love the bird in the sunset! Not so keen on the gulls because as you rightly say, they are reminiscent of a Hitchcock film! Safe journey home AND with clean washing!!

Just had to look back on what I had missed, and loved the shot of the bird in the water. BOTH of them, in fact.

Several years ago, I visited my friend in FL and it rained EVERY day I was there. Most times it was early afternoon, and a very hot, muggy rain that lasted long enough to get you wet and not much more.

AHH what wonderful memories!!

Wonderful photos; love the crane in the water (is that what it is?). It really does look like the sun is setting-fascinating that it wasn't.

You put that picture of FB and I loved it there. It's just about as perfect as you can get.
