Spritzed some spray onto a hexagon stencil, once dry I outlined in a controlled manner around the hexagon shapes. Stamped, colored and fussy cut out my bear image. Printed out my sentiment and glued a few bee stickers on.

I love this bear image so much and bought the stamp set just to get him, lol You will be seeing a bear in my future very soon. I can't release the details yet...OK, so I might have told a few friends, but as soon as I can let you know the details, I will be shouting it from the rooftops....I can "bearly" wait ;)

grift: verb

to obtain (money) illicitly (as in a confidence game)
or
to acquire money or property illicitly

pronunciation

"Grift" was born in the argot of the underworld, a realm in which a "grifter" might be a pickpocket, a crooked gambler, or a confidence man—any criminal who relied on skill and wits rather than physical violence—and to be "on the grift" was to make a living by stings and clever thefts."

Cath over at Moxie Fab has us all thinking about home decor projects.
I took some tea light candles and wrapped some washi tape around them and then had tons of fun embellishing them. Warning here folks, this may become addictive. They are so cute and tiny! lol I can picture them in the guest bathroom or out on my balcony...either way I can't wait to make some more.

Grotesque: noun

a style of decorative art characterized by fanciful or fantastic human and animal forms often interwoven with foliage or similar figures that may distort the natural into absurdity, ugliness, or caricature

And here I thought they were gargoyles!! So, did you know that gargoyles have a purpose? Do you know what it is? Answer at the bottom of the post ;)

Carey took me to the Biltmore Estate Inn for a 5 star breakfast!
And it was deeeellliishhh!
We needed a fortifying breakfast cause we were going to the tip top of Biltmore today. See the flag flying up there? That's where we are heading...by stairs...lots of stairs....

I was standing in the Italian Garden when I took the above picture and here is the view of where I was, from the top of Biltmore.
Here is the view in reverse, once we were up top.
Breath taking, windy and cold....but oh so worth it...every single step!
And who says that George Vanderbilt didn't have a sense of humor? Grotesques with butt cracks...lol
and boobs!
These are things you don't get to see on the ground!

Did you know that a gargoyle is a spout in the form of a grotesque human or animal figure projecting from a roof gutter to throw rainwater clear of a building?
So now you know the difference between a gargoyle and a grotesque!
