Cricut Card Fairy: noun

The Cricut Card Fairies were created by Commander Crystal, who found inspiration from the already existent Cards for Soldiers. The Card Fairies accept requests for people and families who may need a pick me up for any sort of reasons. We are a group of VOLUNTEERS who love our circuts, love making cards, and love spreading cheer through said cards. We have sent all over the United States, Canada, Australia, and even Germany and other parts of Europe. We send all types of cards: birthday, good thoughts, sympathy, well wishes, get better soon, and so many more. We currently have sent out over 860 missions since 2008! Those who may be interested in joining our wonderful group can send an email to : cricutccardfariyarmy@gmail.com

 Welcome to our blog hop!

This weekend we have ten wonderful blogs for you to visit and maybe even win some BLOG CANDY!
(each blogger is responsible for such item and winning entries!, be sure to read entry rules and deadlines carefully!)

Sandee @ http://inthehillsofnorthcarolina.blogspot.com/    <---You are here :)

Kimmi @ http://www.impressivelyyours.blogspot.com     <----Your next stop!
I have kept in touch with one of my missions, she is a young girl who is in and out of the hospital due to Juvenile Dermatomyositis .  And she and her Mom would love for you to join her on Face Book and become an Addie's Angel :) You have to check her out, she is such a cutie pie and collects beans and puts them in a jar for every angel and she has a map that shows where all her angels live. Please go find her page and become an angel for her! Addie's Angels

I made her a Valentine's Day card for her, and I hope she likes it :)
I have really enjoyed making these little easel cards. And the cloud material feels like velvet!
I paper pieced the wings and little cheek spot, plus I cut the wings apart and pop dotted the outer wing and then the little bird itself is pop dotted up from the cloud. I wanted to really make the bird and cloud float!

And I like to make my envelopes as special as the card so I added some of the same plush cloud paper on the inside flap and decorated it with some heart stickers too.

Everyday Paperdolls cartridge
Doodlecharms cartridge
stickles
bird stamp - Autumn Leaves

I am also giving away some blog candy today. Most of you know that I am published in a couple of magazines and they send us all sorts of goodies so I am sharing some of that goodness today with you :) My request is that you please join my blog ( I am still trying to recover from when blogger removed my old blog and all my followers that were with it ) and leave me a comment. If you want to be entered twice then you have the week end to go over to Addie's Angels on Face Book and become one of her angels and then come back here and tell me you did it! I will draw a name on Monday and announce it.
Now your next stop on the hop is Kimmi, enjoy our hop and I hope you consider becoming a Cricut Card Fairy and join us in spreading some good cheer to everyone :)

I have went to Facebook and "liked" the Addie's Angels page. And I will also be sending her a bunch of box tops for her class, as my sons class does not collect them anymore. Thanks for sharing the link to her page, I will pass it along to my friends.

I love your card - the texture is amazing. I've become a follower and also "liked" Addie's Angels as well as making her page a favorite on mine.
Sorry about losing your blog - it happened to me, but I flooded Blogger's email explaining that I broke no rules and wanted my blog back - it was back up within a few hours, but so nerveracking.
Hugs,

Hi Sandee,

thanks so much for stopping by my blog and taking the time to comment. The sentiment stamp I picked up in the dollar bin, at Micheal's. I always forget to add that.

Thanks again,

Colin
