Sympathy card

Living in a retirement community means I can never seem to keep enough sympathy cards in stock at the Art MoB. And as I get older I seem to need a few of them myself to keep on hand so here is yet another condolence card.
The Stabilo pencils were used to outline the handmade paper heart to both soften the look and to help define the heart.

I was happy to finally use this left-over piece of watercolor paper that I made when making another card. Is it bad to love your drips and splotches so much that you can't let go? I held onto it for awhile and was glad I could utilize it.

Sympathy cards are so hard to do, but these soft colors and the perfect sentiment are just right. Thanks for playing along at MFT!
