Sunday with Sandee - under journaling

Have you heard of under journaling?
It's a secret sort of writing out what you feel, what you think or maybe what really just plain bugs you!
The words you choose to use in your work mean more to you than they do to others so my advice is to write from the heart, you're going to cover it up anyway, you will be the only one who will really know what's written there. In the meantime, you will have created an awesome layer that will peep through.

My video is here, over at the Frosted Design's blog ♥

I love this butterfly stencil, it has turned out to be one of my favorites. The butterfly symbolizes transformation and it has others as well: endurance, change, hope, and life. No wonder we love butterflies!

You can barely see the underwriting journaling, but it shows through just enough to add another layer of interest to the page.

I think one of my favorite parts is the eyes...that and the swatch of white hair, but then I am becoming more partial to white hair, lol

Please feel free to print out the outline of the face if you would like to trace her. I would love for you to give me the credit and link back your own creation if you use her. ♥

I hope you create a page with under journaling and post it over on the Frosted Designs Facebook page!

I have done it once or twice. I love your girl and might just have to borrow her!

Sandy, being a card maker at heart, I'm not familiar with all the techniques you are using but I can tell you one thing. I love the finished product. This is just wonderful and I too love white hair!

She is lovely Sandee! Her eyes are fabulous. I just love the title (hubby is a Beatle fan, so it caught my eye right off and love how you added ART...) Such great backgrounds you do also. I am chuckling over embracing the white hair, as Clairol and I are such friends.
