throes: noun

any violent convulsion or struggle
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm home!! yay!! It rained on and off all the way back, but other than a dreary day, the driving was fine!

I hate leaving my plants...I seriously do. Especially when my Fushia, who I have been bringing back from it's death throes a couple of months ago was in full bud when I left, and I was afraid I was going to miss it. But this is it...:) This is one of my "prima donna" plants.

Then, surprise, surprise, my Clematis which I brought home last August is also in full bud! I really didn't think it was going to bloom at all and come to find out that not all Clematis are spring blooming but that some are late summer/fall plants. I hope you can see all the tiny buds ;)

Also please don't forget about Project Pinterest!

Glad you arrived home safely from your long drive. Great that the plants survived without you - I'm exactly the same when I go away: constantly thinking about my cat and plants and hoping that both have faired well! Look forward to some creations from you this week!

Hi Sandee, good to know you are safely home. Love your fuschia, it seems to have managed whilst you were away. Ah-hem we have 30 clematis in our garden and they flower from March to October, at different times - OH's fav plant and we only have a v. small garden but it is pretty! Crafty hugs, Anne x

Hi Sandee, good to hear you got home safely honey. Wow, your fuchsia are looking beautiful. Tee hee, I was a very very naughty girl when I was little, my mum had lots of them in the back garden and I used to love the sound the buds made when they were 'popped', my poor mum used to go spare as could never understand what was happening to her plants! I did confess eventually (and I did stop doing it when I started growing up a bit - lol I was only 4/5 at the time) about 5 years ago, my mum just giggled and said she had always known!!
Big hugs x x x x

Welcome home. Sorry I missed your leaving Florida. I learned it's been too hot here for anything to grow properly, so hopefully if and when it cools a bit, I will have a few things to show in my garden. Way to go. These are both lovely!!
