introverted: adjective

a shy person
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hated the opening and everything about it. I wanted to leave after being there for 10 minutes. My excitement left me as quickly as a deflated balloon. I don't do well in one on one chats about my craft, which is why I signed up to rent a wall space, so that I don't have to talk to anyone. Is that bad? Oh well, if it is. It is me. I have come to embrace the inner introvert that resides in me. But here is a picture of me standing by my wall. The space behind is actually rented but the man hasn't finished it up.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I made this wall hanging for the following:
Perfect Sentiments Challenge - Anything Goes with a sentiment
Paper Playtime - Challenge 82 Polka Dots plus a sentiment
recycle, re-purpose & re-invent - Anything Goes

Reminisce - paper
Cloud 9 - sticker letters
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Hemp cord

The boards that I use for my wall hangings are chip boards that come from packaging, I love the fact that all my signs are made from re-purposed material, plus the witch's broom is made from left over floral stuff ( for lack of a better word ) that has been laying around for 3 years...'bout time it got used for something, huh? I happen to think it makes a perfect broom!

Hi Sandee, oh I really feel for you! But - your wall looks brilliant and nicely stocked too with your lovely hangings, loving the paint brush too. Hope you don't have to be there all day every day, you won't have time for craft!

The Halloween hanging is so funny, gave me a real giggle. Big crafty hugs, Anne x

As extroverted as you are on your blog, I would NEVER have imagined you to be an introvert. If you are ever placed in that predicament again, just imagine you are talking to your blog followers. That might help. I like your wall, though. It looks very well done with the paint brush well positioned in the center.

Hi Sandee,

I know exactly how you feel! I am definitely an introvert in certain situations. The craft fair I do in November is sometimes difficult for me because I am putting my heart and soul out there and if people just walk on by it almost feels like rejection!!!! BUT, I get a booth next to friends so there's a nice distraction for me.

Your booth looks great and that's a nice photo of you. Again, I love your paintbrush (might have to start another pin board on paintbrushes....).

I laughed at the Halloween hanging - how true!

Hugs,
Kay

Congrats on your beautiful display. Love the altered paint brush! Your wall hanging is so cute! Great recycleng with the chipboard packaging and the floral "stuff". The sentiment is hilarious and the little details (the web, bat, spider) are so playful and fun. Thanks for joining us at Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent. I'm glad I got to visit!

Oh Sandee, I'm sorry I'm late in popping over to see you...but look at you...you brave bunny!
The photo is great and I can totally understand you're reluctance to be out there as it were.
I think it's the most difficult thing for an artist to do.
Good luck for huge successes...I know you'll be a big hit! :D

I'm sorry you didn't like the opening, but it is so awesome that you did it! I am the same way - I get shy about showing my scrapbook pages to my family, I can't even imagine having an opening!

I love the witch wall hanging! Purple and orange is my favorite color combination for October!

Sandee, Love the photo of you by your display.

You should never be shy about your Art. I it is something that is defined only by you and how you feel about it and not by what others think.

I also love your Wall Hanging. A great use for packing material and especially like the little broom you added to the side. Thank you for sharing this with us on Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent.
