Chaplinesque: adjective

From Charlie Chaplin (1889-1977) British-American
Think: silent-movie slapstick, tears-and-laughter pathos.
(Score points with film aficionados by noting that he was the first true genius of cinema.)

Ever knew you had something you were suppose to do but just could not remember it. That nagging thought kept popping in and out of my head yesterday and then, after going to bed I remembered...I had a Design Post to create! duh, me! So here it is, so sorry it is a little late.

This is our challenge today over at Try it on Tuesday, when you create your project ( an you can make anything as long as it follows our theme ) please let us know how you interpret it. For me, I found this quote by Emily Dickerson and it just seemed perfect, for it is true. Whether you live in a house, apartment, double wide or hotel room....call it home where ever you are.

This was extremely easy to put together.

Perspiration: noun

Perspire derives from the Latin spirare, "to blow" – suggesting vapors released by the body. It emerged in the 1600s as a gentler alternative to the much older word sweat.
To some, perspire sounds more refined; to others, it seems a bit precious. As one London magazine reported in 1791,
"It is well known that, for some time past, neither man, woman, nor child, in Great Britain or Ireland, of any rank or fashion, has been subject to that gross kind of exsudation which was formerly known by the name of sweat; and that now every mortal, except carters [and] coal-heavers... merely perspires." (The Gentleman's Magazine, Volume 70)

While you are reading and enjoying your Saturday, I will be participating in a sidewalk chalk art contest and while most of you might be thinking I'll be hoping to win, which frankly I know I'll have no chance; I will be just happy if I can walk after it's over. Having a bum knee and preparing to sit, squat and kneel on a hard sidewalk just makes me hurt to think about it. I can't say that this is on my bucket list of activities to achieve before I die...
but it is something I've never done before...and that's reason enough to try.
