Mermaid madness hop

I love me some mermaids, oh yes I do!

seriously...I do!

Jessica Sporn has designed some fabulous stencils for StencilGirl and you can find all her awesome designs here.

Here is one of the art journal pages I made using the
Mermaid Stencil and Masks by Jessica Sporn
and one of my favorite stencils called
Little Eddy Rose created by the awesome MaryBeth Shaw.

Look at all the different shapes and designs you get on just one stencil!

Now if you dare watch the video you are going to see me laugh at myself and make plenty of mistakes, but hey...
that's the real me in all my messy mermaid glory.

I also created an Americana mermaid and you can swim on over and check out the video I made and all the other mermaids that our fabulous design team came up with HERE!

Wow! This is gorgeous. I love the choice of colors, the story you gave to the page you created. Even the mistakes did do exactly what you said and gave it a much more watery look. I love how the mermaid made the heart grow and your quote looks as though it is multidimensional standing out in the page or floating in the water! I am loving these mermaids. Thank you for sharing your amazing creation and story. It's so beautiful!!! ( boley_1 (at) yahoo dot com)

I guess I lost my comment Sandy. I wanted to say that I loved the colors and story behind your page. I love how the mermaid made the heart grow and how your "mistake" ended up adding such a beautiful watery look to the page as well. The mermaid truly pops out on the page and the words seem to float in the water, giving it such a multidimensional look. I love your page! Thank you for sharing your story behind the art with such a wonderful mix of colors and the mermaid! I'm loving these mermaids so much! ( boley_1 (at) yahoo dot com )

Love your themes with these stencils! That Rose stencil makes a great sun or vortex - even looks like waves. I wouldn't have thought of it! Love the ❤️ bubbles, too, and listening to the story as your project evolved! Janisgraham@yahoo.com
