It's time for the Monday Inspiration girls over at Frosted Designs!
We
would like to see your cards, layouts and off the page projects using only 3
colors.... black, white, and one other color of your choice!
I did another lay out!! Don't faint....lol
After checking, I see that my last one was made back in November so I had better get caught up!
Now what do you do when you don't really have anything to journal about? I used a poem from e.e.cummings and wrote fun facts about tulips around the edge of the LO. .
I also like that I got to use a small piece of ephemera, the top of the Biltmore ticket stub is used as my title. And my subliminal sub title which is God - everything - yes, because God is everything!

PageMaps 7th Anniversary sketch contest
Cut out the banner from the Cricut and adhered it to some twine.
Used a French knot to secure the large overlay to the base. .
Sprayed some mister on the overlay and let dry before placing the bling down. Because I sprayed onto a slick surface you really have to be careful and make sure it's completely dry. You can see where I added a little extra glue to the bling because it re-activated the spray, although in my book, that wasn't such a bad thing.
And attached the small journaling circle that I cut out with a stick pin which I outlined with a pen so it pop. I had to paint my date on top of the journaling sticker so that it would show up.
Cricut - Country Life cartridge
Prima - bling
Hambly - overlays
Colorbok - black felt butterfly
Maya Road - hat pin butterfly
Faber Castell - PITT pen
American Crafts - Slick Writers
Higgins - waterproof ink

I cannot tell you how much I love this! The little banner and pin detail are lovely and those tulips are just beautiful. x
Love your layout Sandee..great idea for the tulip facts around the edge - aren't they just beautiful altogether in bloom? Carole Z X
Gosh, sandee,
this is maybe one of the most beautiful scrap pages I have ever seen (I don't do scrapbooking myself, but really admire folks, who know how to create awseome LOs and how to juggle with colours and texture).
You did an awesome job working with the yellow contrasting the black texture thus building a spectacular frame for the wonderful photos!
LOVE IT!
Hugs,
Claudia x

Wow, sandee,
This is truly amazing. I really like how you incorporated part of your ticket that actually took the place of a photo. Well thought out layout.
I am especially impressed with all the tools and products you use with each project. As someone who was recently gifted with a BigKick, I understand how expensive all those extras are that need to be purchased.
I especially like that banner. I am going to have to make one from scratch, so I know how nice it would be to have the tools to make it without the added work.
What a cool idea! When I don't have anything to journal, I usually just leave it blank. You are so creative!
The photographs are stunning too!
Lovely layout of the gorgeous spring bulbs at Biltmore!
Love your layout Sandee!! The color combo is great :)
Love it Sandee! The colours and the swirl of crystals and the splattery background - just lovely! x
