OK, seriously 2 of those colors just confuse me, so I had to look up exactly what Chartreuse ( a bright yellowish green color ) and Aqua were. ( The difference between aqua, teal and turquoise is turquoise is more green, teal is more blue than green and aqua is a light blue ) I am forever getting Aqua, Teal, and Turquoise mixed up unless they are all laying beside each other. I was happy when I read that there were a lot of people that have this same confusion....it's not just me! yay!! lol
I mean I can't trust my computer to show me the true colors.
It's a very simpe card, double mat with chartreuse and light grey paper, first stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment stamp on the aqua paper and cut out. Cover the chipboard person with gelato and smooth out. Run message bubble die cut through printer with your own message and pop dot over sentiment. Finish by doodling around the edges of your card.
supplies:
Hero Arts - Make A Wish Message stamp
Cloud9 - grey paper
aqua, chartreuse - from stash
Maya Road -
My Little Shoebox - Lil Critter die cut ( message bubble )
Faber Castell - PITT pens, silver metallic gelato

Ha! I can't even spell it right........sorry A x
Very cute!!! I love the colors. Also like the conversation bubble.
Teal, turquoise and aqua confuse me too! I'm glad you cleared it up...now if only I can remember that for the next time I'm confronted with these colors!
The card is great, I really like the sentiment!
wow! you did a great job with a very difficult color palette!
Thanks for the link to the font! (you enabler! LOL!)
I had a color swap last year with a friend who chose teal as the color of choice. I looked long and hard for teal, and even the experts couldn't agree. What was teal color in thread was not teal color in paint and paper. SO confusing. But I love those colors together, especially the greenish and tealish (grin).
Cute card! :):)
