I sure would have enjoyed more snow but I take what I can get. On the plus side is that the back yard stays shady longer so the snow does last awhile back there! You can tell it was a little windy last night from the crooked bow...guess I need to take down my outside decorations, huh?
Since I'm not so inspired to take down my decorations I figured I would find some

Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger:
By The Numbers
This is what I came up with:
I tried a new technique for me which was shading the floss with my ink. I wanted to give the design a little depth so I took a paint brush and lightly rubbed it on the ink pad and then brushed it onto the floss. ( Make sure you stroke the brush in one direction so as not to ruin your bristles. ) I do like flat cards because they aren't as expensive to mail but I still want it to have some dimension and texture which is why I love to sew on my cards. It may take a little longer, but I like to think that it's better, it's like sewing some love into your card.

we got a dusting of snow on monday-the boys were so excited but then they figured out there isn't enough to go sledding or make snow balls they lost interest-heheh
great job on the inspiration!!
sandee, thanks so much for your kind comments on my work! you totally brought a smile to my face last night! thanks soooo much!!
Sandee I love your card with that beautiful stitching! I must have had a senior moment the other day...thought I joined your site, but I definitely have now! I even have your blog featured on my blog list... Now, please send that snow my way! :-)
hugs,
Ellen
A beautiful card, I love how the texture here gives the eye pause to move around the card and see the different shadings. The sentiment is dear and gives me a chance to think on my BFF. We've stitched, beaded, knitted, scrapbooked, paper crafted through the years...see how you've inspired just one person out in the blog-o-sphere! Thanks
lovely card-I like how you chose to use the quilt element of the Trigger!
Gorgeous card! I love your colored stitching:) Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog!
Look at you go! This is totally fabulous and beautiful work and I so love your take on the trigger!
Your stitched card is really pretty Sandee. I really like adding stitching to a card, but haven't yet tried it myself. Need to branch out this year and try new things!! We had a very light dusting of snow before I left work yesterday, and it was so cold, it caused chaos with traffic because the roads were just a sheet of ice! Took 2 hours for many people to make a normally 15 minute trip. Glad I was going in the opposite direction. Thanks so much for the kind comments you left on my DCD post. They touched my heart. Thanks, my friend!--Pat N.
I love the stitching on your card! And I wish I could make a quilt just like that numbers one!
Your card is beautiful, Sandee! I see the love you put in it. ;)
Gorgeous card, Sandee. Love the stitching technique~very elegant looking. It would make a beautiful quilt :)
sandee, i love all of your work, and your inspirational writing. I sat and read alot of it today. I love your sewn cards, as I always loved looking at your scrapbooks and seeing your sewn pages. Keep up the good work. Roxy.
Hey Sandee! Thanks for linking this up to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
Your card is beautiful and so is your hand stitching. I would have never have thought to paint the floss.
