I hear people talk about their mojo being missing, that they aren't inspired, nothing is coming to them.....well, I never feel stuck in a rut because I do challenges. Sometimes they stump me, but figuring out how to do them is what keeps me energized and creative.
Take the current challenge over at Unity Stamps for example:
You have 3 choices to inspire you and usually I am drawn to the color challenges, but in this case I also liked the card sketch challenge. So I combined them together to create a card that normally I wouldn't even have thought of!
Keep in mind what the word challenge means:
a call or summons to engage in any contest, as of skill, strength, etc.
Having said that, let me point out the difficulty I faced in the color choice. They weren't colors I would normally pair up together but I wasn't going to let that stop me! See it as a fun experiment to do something different.
I also like to use my stamps in different ways and I think the little girl from the Grandma's Needlepoint stamp set works really well in a Halloween card! Thinking outside the box can be a lot of fun!

I always feel the opposite! I struggle with challenges as I seem to question my abilities even more when I have to stay within a certain perimeter. I start to panic that I didn't do it good enough or use the right products or interpret the challenge right.....I know. I'm messed....LOL. Love your card by the way. <3

Love this so much, it really made me smile and gave me an idea for a stamp I have...I think you are right about challenges, the trouble is that much as I love them, I hardly have time for them...my crafting time is in between work and its normally commissions or prepping for the craft class I teach with a friend...but both of those, as well as DT stuff make me grab Mr Mojo by the neck and keep him there til he inspires me, lol, Hugs Carole Z X
