Sundays with Sandee

This is my graph journal, and a few things I learned very quickly is that it doesn't like water! lol See how wrinkled the page turned out, plus inks and the pressure from writing in it shows up on the backside of the paper but graph paper is a great tool to use when practicing hand lettering.

As a small way of saying thank you to the ones who visit my blog and the Frosted Designs Blog I'd like to offer a graph journal and some tape. All you have to do is leave me a comment over on the FD blog and then leave me one here telling me that you did it. That's all you have to do ♥

And thank you for taking the time to visit me, to leave me little notes of appreciation and for participating in my videos because when you do, I know that...

Thank you to Tamiko for give me a stash of washi papers for my birthday, I am utilizing them in my lettering book since the pages are perforated, the washi tape hopefully will keep them from coming out.

Thanks to Sharon Morgan for finding me a quote to use:

Thank you to Vicki for hand knitting me this gorgeous scarf for my birthday and sending it to me all the way from Australia!

So glad you liked your scarf, it looks good on you.. I have dug out the graph paper and will make a little book to follow along with the lettering this will be just the thing I need to get me doing more writing in my journal..

What a fun way to take a photo so you can show off your new scarf.

Yes, let's both be happier than birds with french fries today, because why not?!

I left a comment at the FD blog!
I love 'graph paper' - here in the UK we would call this squared paper, graph paper is completely different for us!

So sure you will find 200 gazillion other uses that haven't been listed for using washi!! Can't wait to play along and find a way to get some better looking typography.. I think not liking my own spacing is the reason I don't use my own writing more. This will be different but very useful information! Thank you for always finding ways to keep us all constantly pushing ourselves.. :) <3 I love that pic with Sandy's scarf & your haircut too!! Brook wants the mirror.. the litte Diva!! LOL Oh and thanks for the give away.. Uhm of course I did whatever I was suppose to do over at FD too.. yea.. uhmm sure I did.. go see.. (in 10 minutes)!! lol
