Moxie Fab  350 Cards and Gifts Week - Gift Card Holder Challenge
365 Cards - Day 131 Put it in your Pocket
All that Stickles - Cotton Candy Linky party
Inkspirational - Challenge #19

You know, put a pink glittery balloon on a gift bag and I'd be happy. Nope, it doesn't take a lot for me :) Of course, one that holds a gift card makes me a little happier and this one does slip out of the bag for ease of shopping! :)

I love this background paper, it's a flocked embossed texture that feels so good to run your fingers over.
Added lace to the inside of the bag to emulate tissue paper. I do recommend adding a bit of wax paper into the bag to keep the glue from adhering the bag together. The handle is created the same way from a piece of twine.

The balloon is sitting on a glue dot and I tried to shape the balloon over it to give it a more rounded look. I spread some stickles over the balloon and then outlined with the same color. Filled in with some glossy accents.

Ranger - stickles ( cotton candy ), Glossy Accents
Really Reasonable Ribbon - twine
Making Memories - ribbon
Cricut - Everyday Paper Dolls, p. 43
Maya Roads - envelope
CARDZTV - stamp sentiment
Heidi Grace - paper is old, from 2007..I've been hoarding it that long! lol

Card Makin' Mama's - Green
( the pattern paper is a lime green but photographed yellowish )

#17 of 30 Mother's Day cards in 30 days challenge issued by the Art MoB.
I love speech bubbles, maybe it's because I wanted to be a cartoonist when I was a little girl, but this trend makes me smile!

I added Helmar's Liquid Scrapdots under the butterfly wings and used their Gemstone Adhesive  to glue the pearl body on. I also doodled around the outside edge of the base card to emulate the white dots on the speech bubble.

My Mind's Eye - Lime Twist "Happy Go Lucky"
pattern paper, speech bubble, and butterfly
Helmar - Liquid Scrapdots and Gemstone Adhesive
Reminisce - white pen

12 step program: noun

is a set of guiding principles (accepted by members as 'spiritual principles,' based on the approved literature) outlining a course of action for recovery from addiction, compulsion, or other behavioral problems
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hear there is a 12 step program for just about everything these days and I am beginning to wonder if I need one because I am clearly on my way to becoming a stack-a-holic! lol

I used the following DCWV stacks:

A Type of Art Cardstock stack
Stardust stack
Animal Crackers stack
Glitter Stack
and
 Really Reasonable Ribbon
Creative Imaginations chipboard letters
Making Memories velvet brad

Here is the sketch for the challenge which I rotated to the right and inverted the flags and journaling space since I couldn't write on the Stardust paper.

My favorite thing to do is to make embellishments, so I used some of my twigs from the backyard to make these adorable little flags, doodling and stitching around the green one.
The big solid brown ribbon is up cycled from something but for the life of me I cannot remember where I got it. I just re-discovered it recently during a "can't find anything, have to clean my craft room moment"..ever have those? lol All I can say is it had velcro on each end, but haven't a clue as to why.

Don't forget it's time to link up those ideas for Project Pinterest!
