Naw, just kidding, you can laugh along with me...I know I am ______! (you can fill in the blanks) Someone who gets excited about a bunny is ________ lol But the first year I moved in we had lots of them. It wasn't uncommon to see 5 or 6 out in the yard. The next year...zero. We also had more hawks, so I think they ate them all :(
I found this bunny tail out in the yard one day in the second year...I know I am _______ for keeping it. Only one of my friends knows about it, I don't usually share this because I know it grosses most people out. I guess I felt so bad for the missing bunnies that I felt I should treasure it, kind like a memorial for all the lost bunnies.
So, now you know my deep dark secret, lol Are you still my ________?
Awwww...............................why did I read this?
ReplyDeleteI would probably save it too:)
Hey Sandra... some people keep a rabbit foot (eew... gross) so I think a little fluffy tail is okay. If I don't think too hard. He may well have just needed a trim :/
ReplyDeleteSorry just noticed... who the bell is Sandra? Pretext Grr!!!! 😕
DeleteMouth drops.. uhm interesting.. cute bunnies though.. :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww.... I would be sad for the missing bunnies, and I would have saved the tail too. I hope more bunnies come back to your yard.
ReplyDeleteBunnies = cute, tails without the bunnies = shoot the hawk!!!! Oh, maybe I just dont get this survival of the fittest thingy. I know there is a reason for nature, but sometimes it just seems cruel. I had a hawk a couple years ago and it would just kill all the birds and sometimes leave them as if for sport. Ok, that said, I am not sure I could keep the tail, but that's not an awful secret (some people keep deer heads, after all, and they don't hide them...LOL). I still love you and LOVE your landscaping!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwe Sansee I would have done the same thing. I am a softie for nature and animals. Great blog.
ReplyDeleteIf that's the reason you have kept it then you have a sentimental, soft side to you & I love that in a person. More people should save bunny tails this world would be a better place !! You go girl <3
ReplyDeleteWe have bunnies in our yard every year too! The Momma returns every year in the early spring to have her babies in my perennial garden. Then we don't see them until the next Spring!!! I have not saved any parts, but then I have never found parts! Thanks for the giggle.....love other's reactions!
ReplyDeleteAaah bless ya Sandee, hugs Carole Z xx
ReplyDeleteAwwww, well I guess I am _________ too! I just love watching the bunnies! Heck, I love watching all of the little critters! We had two bunnies in the back yard actually playing leap frog back and forth with each other. I got so excited getting to see them play! Yep, I probably would keep the bunny tail too.
