ReplyDeleteWell there you go, I never knew that! It has always just been a holiday to me, St Stephen's day and a sporting day with many "hunts" in the countryside. (Dad used to live on Dartmoor so this was a common pass time).

ReplyDeleteGreat picture. My cats would like it known that they are part of the less fortunate and would appreciate gifts of food, tuna, food, and more food, because they are starving, just ask them. Anyway, I feel enlightened. I thought Boxing Day was their equivalent of the after Christmas day shopping, only more civilized (no actual boxing taking place).
