Kat, whose hand designed gorgeous grocery tote was sent to me, it's awesome and cannot wait to take it shopping with me! Visit her blog Kat's Nature for tons of inspiring paintings!
and Tracey, from Australia, who sent me 2 awesome book marks, aren't they beautiful? I'm suppose to send her some but mine pale in comparison to hers! She is such a talented artist and I highly recommend visiting her blog, Tracey Fletcher King, and check out all the great things there!
and Terrie, from Washington, she and I are exchanging mail art, I love this idea and it truly brightened not only my mailbox but my day too! I love her collaging talents and please go visit her blog Creative Explorer to enjoy her awesome creativity!!
I'm also recieving ATC's from the WOYWW exchange:
First one from Zoe, across the pond from England, and I have to say I was very chuffed to get it, she Zentangled her ATC and incorporated the WOYWW into the design! Isn't she clever? Have you visited her blog? craftygasheadzo, where she is smashing everything!

Morning Sandee, gosh you got to my desk quickly thanks. Was thinking I'd send an ATC to the Queen, her address is on the Royal Website. Can't work out what Elizabeth is referring to in her comment??? What planet am I on? Can't believe you got Zoe's ATC so quickly, although they did seem to "speed" up before they closed for the holiday. You ATC from me should be on its way again today as we are back to "normal" and I have BADMINTON too. LOL BJ#32

ReplyDeleteStarting with the smallest, it works like this:
Hamlet: just a few houses grouped together, no shops, maybe a pub.
Village: A larger area of houses, maybe 2,000 or so people. Usually shops, pubs, school ,doctors if you'#re lucky.
Towns and cities are much larger. My village is called Burbage, we have a lovely community where there are lots of groups and activities going on. The Queen was just a village lady dressing up for the procession - she was very good at waving just like the real person!!
