manifestation: noun

One of the forms in which someone or something, such as a person, a divine being, or an idea, is revealed

( Some people are asking me about my blog title words, simply, it's just fun for me. I love words. )
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's a wonderful day in the WOYWW neighborhood!
A beautiful day to look around,
would you snoop with me?
can you stay a spell?
Won't you be my neighbor?

ok, not sure where the Mr. Roger's manifestation came from...lol...

My desk has my AB book on it, {working diligently on Lesson 6: Design Principles continued (part 2) from Elizabeth's class}, things that need to be put away and lots of open drawers that never have the chance to be shut!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Over at Die Cuttin Divas, it's time for their Challenge #61: Gardens .

Another card for my man stash!
Now since I am trying to build up my man cards, I thought I would do something a little different than flower gardens so I cut out a bunch of different tools that you need to garden with from the Paper Dolls cartridge, and from Stretch Your Imagination. ( and you know how men love their tools! )
I added some bees, a compost pile, and a happy birthday sign.
I must admit it was difficult not adding any flowers and butterflies!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Speaking of gardens, this is for all my gardening friends who are getting out and getting dirty, here is a little video about the proper way to use your tools so that you don't hurt your back or wrists. It's definetly worth watching!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and oops, looks like some one had a little accident on my balcony this morning! ;)

I love the grass I put in this little chicken planter, it's called Fiber Optics, and it has the cutest, tiniest little white flowers on the end of it's leaves.

  7. Hi Sandee! Those were good tips to follow--especially from a Physical Therapist--that way we don't wind up gong to one, LOL! Your male themed gardener card is great--yes they do love tools! I loved the little chicken--it reminds me of the 8 little animal themed pots I am currently working on!

  8. Hi Sandee,

Your AB project is coming right along! I like the card. It's hard to make man cards. I had a fish stamp once and got rid of it, now I wish I had it.

Haven't watched the video yet but I will. The rule here is not to plant anything before Mother's Day. My lilacs are blooming and my day lilies are popping up.

    Happy WOYWW

  9. Hi Sandee!
    Thanks for visiting my blog!
The URL for the Diva Challenge is
    http://iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com/
and the URL for the Tangle Patterns blog is
    http://tanglepatterns.com/
The Tangle Patterns blog has directions for doing each zentangle pattern. You click on the letters of the alphabet at the top of the page and you'll see all the designs whose names start with that letter and each has a link to directions. Both blogs have lots of helpful info on zentangling.
Hope that's as clear as mud!
Let me know if you have more questions. :D

  10. That Fiber Optics grass is very cool. I have some blue-eyed grass that gets teeny blue flowers on the tips, but it isn't really spreading as I'd hoped it would. Perhaps if I weeded that bed more often?

Happy WOYWW (I was too tired to post this week!) ~ Laura

It is lovely to see a desk after my own heart - mind you, currently I am being a very good girl and shutting drawers. #100

  12. That AB is looking great, and I love all the detail on the gardening card! Would love if you could comment on my May Arts project, it took me quite a while to figure it out, and not one person has mentioned that they like it....I thought it was colorful. Have a great week.

  24. Chuckling over the chicken..and yep, I like that grass too...clever huH! Your desk looks amazing, am behind with my AB, but so far so good...and of course your desk looks busy, these ABs require something out of every draw if you ask me!

  25. Love the chicken planter! Your die cut card was totally excellent. Men do love their tools, but mine wouldn't be caught dead messing with pots and planters. Not a green thumb on that man. The altered book is really coming along nicely now. I was happy to see all the drawers hanging open. I do that too. But do close them up when I call it a night. Too much temptation for prowling felines I'm afraid, although this current batch doesn't seem to putter on my desk much.

  27. I love your little chicken on your balcony. Your gardening card was really so effective, just right for the men. Thank you for your visit this week. They keep telling us that we have a drought situation and the rain that we are having now will run off as the ground is so dry. They want to try our garden, it is sodden right down deep. Hope your rain is doing good for your gardens. xx Maggie #59

  29. Sandee, that's a beautiful book with the heart pages. Most unusual! I love your gardening card, especially all the different textures you've got, with the grass, and all the lovely pots in the wheelbarrow! That's great! Your little peeing chicken really made me smile!

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog, and I'm so glad you like my mask zentangle. Zentangling is a lot easier than it looks - have a look on Youtube and you'll find lots of help to get started. I've been doing it about 3 weeks now and see how far I've got!! The mask is really "Zentangle Art" and different from true zentangling which is just done in a very simple shape. You'll be surprised how easy it is.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  30. Laughed at the planter, but was super impressed by the plant in it. Never heard of Fiber Optics (as a plant, that is).

Glad you are keeping up with the AB. No time to shut the drawers, I don't imagine.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and showing your concern. I am SO appreciative of you!

  34. Well done on your AB - Zoe (Crafty Gashead) has worked on one and I'm keen to see it in the flesh, though actually crafting one is well ahead of my beginner skills as yet! (Notice I'm warming up to the idea of destroying a book - shock, horror!). Thanks for popping by my Pen Pot - you're welcome to follow me, then you'll never lose me! ;0) Have a fab week - I'm late WOYWW-looking, so best get to it! Best wishes, Deb x
